Why Cleanse
Cleansing and fasting is nothing new. Open a bible to see that our ancestors have prescribed cleansing as medicine for as long as we have been on the planet. Even animals know to fast, for instance, after being bitten by a rattlesnake, to purge the toxins from their bodies. After you have been on the planet for over 20 or 30 years you have probably ingested, at some point or another, something that is now being stored in your intestines, waiting for the day(s) where you give your body a rest and simplify the functions of your organs long enough to release old build-up from your colon. Fasts are also helpful in neutralizing parasites whose over population in the bowels creates unnecessary bloating and discomfort.
